1. Who We Are

TradeSeal ("we", "us", or "our") operates tradeseal.ca, a Red Seal exam preparation platform for Canadian tradespeople. You can contact us at hello@tradeseal.ca.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use TradeSeal:

• Account information: Your email address when you sign up via email magic link or Google OAuth.
• Usage data: Practice test scores, question votes (easy/ok/hard), and study progress to power your dashboard.
• Payment information: Processed entirely by Stripe. We never store your card details.
• Error logs: Anonymous JavaScript error reports to help us fix bugs.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the TradeSeal platform
• To save your progress and show your scores over time
• To manage your subscription via Stripe
• To send you sign-in links or product updates (you can unsubscribe anytime)

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted on AWS infrastructure in Canada/US. Authentication tokens are stored in your browser's local storage and session storage.

5. Third-Party Services

• Supabase — authentication and database
• Stripe — payment processing
• Google OAuth — optional sign-in method
• Cloudflare — hosting and CDN

6. Your Rights

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@tradeseal.ca. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use browser local storage for session management and test tracking. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of TradeSeal after changes constitutes acceptance.
