1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TradeSeal ("the Service") at tradeseal.ca, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
TradeSeal provides digital Red Seal exam preparation materials including practice questions, flashcards, study guides, and mock tests for Canadian tradespeople. The Service is offered on a subscription basis (monthly or annual) with a limited free tier.
3. Accounts
- You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
- Each account is for a single individual. Account sharing is not permitted.
- We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
- Monthly plan: $9.99/month + applicable taxes. Renews automatically each month.
- Annual plan: $39.99/year + applicable taxes. Renews automatically each year.
- Billing is processed by Stripe. Canadian sales tax (HST/GST/PST) is calculated at checkout based on your province.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
5. Refund Policy
Because our study materials are digital and available immediately upon purchase, we do not offer refunds. We encourage you to use the free tier to evaluate the Service before subscribing. If you experience a technical issue preventing access, contact us at hello@tradeseal.ca and we will work to resolve it.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on TradeSeal — including questions, flashcards, study guides, and software — is owned by TradeSeal and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
7. Disclaimer
TradeSeal is a study aid and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the Red Seal Program, Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC), or any provincial apprenticeship authority. Passing TradeSeal practice tests does not guarantee passing the official Red Seal examination.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradeSeal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including exam failure.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
